It’s going to be a hot one this week and no matter how many times I remind my little one that it’s too hot to play outside, he still stands at the door first thing in the morning with his shoes on ready to go . 

So here’s a few affordable ways to keep the kids busy AND cool this summer !

Delaware Children’s Museum (Wilmington, DE) – $12 general admission, tons of hands-on learning!

Chesapeake Exploration Center (Kent Narrows, MD) – Great for curious minds and only $2 entry!

Gilpin’s Falls Museum (North East, MD) – Small, local, and free.

Smyrna Museum Complex (Smyrna, DE) – Free and air-conditioned!

Cecil County Public Library – Free Storytime, crafts, STEM activities, and A/C!
